Softball 2019

6U - ages 4-6.  This is our beginner division, in which we use a program called Quickball..  Equipment Required - Sneakers or cleats. This division will use small groups to work on the basic fundamental skills of the game.  Approx 8 games (primarily Sat games with a few weeknight games- rainouts played on Sundays).  Approx 1 practice per week (day depends on coach/team....hardship night can be noted in registration).  This division requires many volunteers to help, please consider signing up to coach as well.  8U - ages 7-8.  Machine Pitch with migration to kid pitch. This division utilizes the “blue flame” manually operated pitching machine. Games in the 1st half of the season are 100% machine pitch, games over the 2nd half of season are a mixture of machine and kid pitch (2 innings each).Equipment Required - glove, cleats, softball pants, fielder’s mask.  Minimum of 8-10 games (primarily Sat games with a few weeknight games- rainouts played on Sundays).  Approx 1 practice per week (day depends on coach/team....hardship night can be noted in registration). 10U - ages 9-10.  Kid Pitch, and interleague play. 12U - ages 11-12.  Interleague Play.
