Fall Registration Information

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website.  SFYAL is a non profit, all volunteer baseball and softball program serving the Spring Ford and surrounding areas.  We participate in the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth League.  It is our goal to instill in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, fair play, competition, respect for the game of baseball & softball and to provide a fun and safe environment to do so.

Our Fall Ball Season will focus on Fun and Fundamentals.  The season will run from September 10th through October 22nd.  Registration fee for all Baseball and Softball Divisions will be $50

Baseball - We offer 3 divisions AA for our youngest players (age 5-6) and finishing up in our Major League at age 12. Age is determined by Cal Ripken guidelines, the cutoff is May 1, 2018.  Please email registrar.sfyal@gmail.com for any questions regarding registration. 

  • AA (Ages 5-6) will have games on Sunday and practice on Wednesday nights at the Main Complex.
  • Minor League (Ages 7-9) will have games on Sunday and practice on Thursday nights at the Main Complex.
  • Major Leage (Ages 10-12) will have games on Sunday and practice on Thursday nights at the Main Complex.

 

Softball - We offer 4 divisions, starting with 6U for ages (5-6) finishing up with the 12U division. Age is determined by Babe Ruth guidelines, cutoff is Jan 1, 2018.  Any questions regarding softball registration can be sent to Registrar.sfyal@gmail.com.

  • 6U (Ages 5-6) will have games on Sunday and practice on Wednesday nights at the Main Complex.
  • 8U (Ages 7-8) will have games on Sunday and practice on Thursday nights at the Main Complex.
  • 10U (Ages 9-10) will have games on Sunday and practice on Thursday nights at the Main Complex.
  • 12U (Ages 11-12) will have games on Sunday and practice on Wednesday at the Main Complex.

 

Spring Baseball 2018

The 2018 Spring season. Please not that there are new baseball bat requirements starting January 1st 2018 as required by Cal Ripken and most other youth baseball organizations. You will see a link to the Cal Ripken website following registration which should be able to answer all of your questions. Any baseball bat which is not compliant with the new USA Bat standard will not be allowed to be used.
